  2.     CMS card users:  Don't listen to anybody about how your card 
  3. sucks.  It is a very good card.  I would recommend upgrading to 
  4. Sound Blaster, though.  You not only get the SB card, but you 
  5. also get the two $30 CMS chips that allow the SB to play CMS 
  6. music.  This is something that someone buying the hardware 
  7. package off the street doesn't get.  Upgrading requires one of 
  8. two things:
  9.      1) Sending $139 and your CMS card to Creative Labs.
  10.      2) Sending $149 and your CMS documentation or warranty card.
  11.     I would call Creative Labs before you did anything; the re-
  12. quirements might have changed.

  14.     Sound Blaster users:  I am the proud owner of the Sound 
  15. Blaster, and I believe it is going to beat Ad-Lib by a long 
  16. throw.  I was shocked, however, to find out that Brown-Wagh (USA 
  17. distributors of Sound Blaster) had not created and was not ever 
  18. going to create a composer for all 24 voices of the card.  I 
  19. guess they don't care about us end users.  (I'm sure Sierra has 
  20. gotten one, though, but then they probably made their own)  If 
  21. anyone feels left out by this gross error, please contact me:

  27.     I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a petition, but 
  28. if anyone has any better ideas, please let me know.  If you have 
  29. never heard 24 voice sound (12 Stereo CMS, 11 FM Ad-lib, one 
  30. digitized channel) from your card, join the crowd.  I have not 
  31. seen Wolf Pack yet; it is supposed to support Sound Blaster, but 
  32. one never knows what that means.  I don't know if it really sup-
  33. ports all 24 voices of the card.  (Dynamix's great game A-10 Tank 
  34. Killer 'supports' Sound Blaster spelled Ad-lib)

  36.     We song writers/converters need to start programming in 24
  37.                              voices!
